What is FuturaStone?
A decorative surface consisting of naturally polished stones, collected from river beds and processed in our own Alabama rock plant. These stones are combined with an epoxy binder and adhesive and applied to concrete surfaces, spread out like wet concrete, to harden rock solid. It is traffic-ready within one day.

Who should install FuturaStone?
Only an authorized, factory-trained FuturaStone dealer should install FuturaStone.
Can Futura Stone be installed where concrete never existed?
Yes. Although Futura Stone is ideal as an alernative to concrete resurfacing, concrete may be applied first, with Futura Stone added afterward.
Does Futura Stone perform well in cold as well as warm climates?
Yes, because Futura Stone has an elasticity factor of 22%, allowing for normal expansion and contraction, it performs extremely well in colder climates as well as warmer climates. Compared to concrete and other surfaces, FuturaStone is one of the most durable and attractive surfaces you can get, regardless of local climate.
How long does it take to install?
One or two days. The completed surface is usually traffic-ready within a day of installation.
How does FuturaStone handle spills and stains?
It can be easily cleaned and washed, leaving virtually no trace of spills or spots. Powerwashing and detergents are effective. The FuturaStone bonding agent is hightly resistant to oil and rust stains.
How does FuturaStone perform when exposed to moisture?
Water, moisture, even ice, doesn’t bug it. Liquid water seeps through the porous surface and runs off the subsurface, downhill, as water prefers to do.
What maintenance is required/recommended?
FuturaStone requires minimal maintenance. In order to ensure that the surface retains its strength and finish, regular maintenance should be performed. It is recommended that the entire surface be periodically cleaned with mild and environmentally safe detergent and allowed to dry. This will not only protect the surface, but will restore the shine and glossy appearance.
